Avaada Group Celebrates Rural Innovators at the Millionaire Farmer Awards 2025
Dec 12, 2025
Avaada Group participated in the Millionaire Farmer of India (MFOI) Awards 2025, held in Delhi from December 7 to 9, where the achievements of transformative rural leaders and successful agri-entrepreneurs were celebrated. The event brought together progressive farmers, agritech companies, policymakers, and industry experts driving the next phase of Indian agriculture.
Through its involvement, Avaada reaffirmed its commitment to supporting rural empowerment and advancing sustainable development. The group highlighted its initiatives in solar-powered irrigation, clean energy adoption, and strengthening agricultural value chains to help farmers improve productivity and livelihoods.
Avaada’s renewable energy solutions have enabled thousands of irrigation pumps to receive dependable daytime power, reducing reliance on night-time farming and helping cultivators manage crop cycles more efficiently. Several sarpanches and farmers were honoured during the ceremony for their outstanding contributions to agriculture and community advancement.
Vineet Mittal, Chairman of Avaada Group, noted that participating in the MFOI Awards offered an opportunity to recognise India’s most forward-thinking farmers. He said the company’s clean energy projects—from Pune and Yavatmal to Solapur and Nashik—are driving rural transformation by improving productivity, enhancing resilience, and supporting India’s broader renewable energy goals.
In villages such as Bhenda, Ranjangaon, Najik Chincholi, and Mhasale, Avaada’s interventions have helped reduce diesel use, improve irrigation efficiency, and boost agricultural output. The company continues to expand its efforts to solarise farms across Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0 as part of its long-term mission to enhance farm productivity, efficiency, and scale.
