Hyderabad-based solar EPC and infrastructure company Bondada Engineering Ltd. (BEL) has reported exceptional growth in the first half of FY 2025–26, with revenue soaring 153% to INR 1,216 crore and profit after tax rising 151% to INR 92.56 crore. The renewable energy segment remained the key contributor, generating INR 955 crore, which accounts for 78% of the total revenue. BEL’s order book has reached INR 5,989 crore, supported by projects across renewable energy, telecom, railways, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and manufacturing.

With 78 MW of solar projects commissioned and approvals secured for 2 GW of upcoming capacity, the company is well-positioned to advance India’s target of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. Operating profits stood at INR 143.03 crore, with margins improving to 11.8%, while the balance sheet remains strong, reflecting a low debt-equity ratio of 0.34, RoCE of 29.6%, and an interest coverage ratio of 8.38. Expanding into new areas such as battery storage and data centres, BEL continues to align its growth strategy with India’s clean energy and digital infrastructure ambitions.
