Bondada Engineering Wins Rs 945 Crore BoS Contract for 810 MW Solar Projects in Rajasthan

Bondada Engineering has secured a major contract valued at approximately Rs 945.11 crore from NLC India Renewables for balance-of-system (BoS) works related to 810 MW of solar power projects at the RVUNL Solar Park in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The order has been awarded on behalf of NLC India.
As per the company’s regulatory filing, the scope of work covers end-to-end BoS activities, including design and engineering, site development, manufacturing, inspection at vendors’ facilities, supply, insurance, transportation, storage, erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of the entire 810 MW solar capacity.
The contract also includes the development of the power evacuation system up to the delivery point at the 33 kV side of the 33/400 kV park pooling substation. In addition, Bondada Engineering will provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for a period of three years following project commissioning.
Commenting on the order, Dr. Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of Bondada Group, said the contract reflects strong confidence in the company’s technical capabilities and execution expertise. He noted that the order marks a key milestone for the group and further strengthens its position as a reliable EPC partner for large-scale solar infrastructure projects across India.
Dr. Rao added that the company remains committed to executing the project in line with the highest standards of quality, safety, and timely delivery, while appreciating the trust placed by NLC India Renewables.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 15 months from the receipt of the letter of award (LoA).
Bondada Engineering stated that the latest order enhances its order book visibility and reinforces its growing footprint in the renewable energy sector. With this addition, the company’s total EPC projects under execution and development have reached 3 GW, providing a strong foundation for medium-term growth.
