Bondada Group and Adani Group Sign Five-Year Framework Agreement for Renewable Energy Collaboration

Nov 21, 2025

Bondada Group has entered into a five-year Framework Agreement with the Adani Group, establishing a long-term partnership to support Bharat’s growing renewable energy sector. The collaboration kicks off with a 650 MW solar project awarded to Bondada Engineering by Adani Green Energy, paving the way for a robust pipeline of future joint initiatives.

The agreement was officially signed at the Adani Corporate Office in Shantigram, Ahmedabad, in the presence of Vneet S Jaain, Managing Director of Adani Green Energy, and Dr. Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of Bondada Engineering.

Under this framework, both companies will work closely over the coming five years to advance solar energy development. The partnership begins with Bondada Engineering securing a 650 MW solar energy order from Adani Green Energy—setting the stage for several major collaborative projects in the near future.

Commenting on the milestone, Dr. Bondada Raghavendra Rao reaffirmed the company’s dedication to supporting Bharat’s clean energy mission.

“This agreement further strengthens our collaboration as we contribute to Bharat’s renewable energy ambitions. Together, we aim to combine the strengths of both organizations to help the nation achieve its clean energy objectives,” he stated.

The Adani Group is currently developing the world’s largest renewable energy project—transforming the vast Khavda region in Kutch, Gujarat, into a 30 GW clean energy hub under the Government of India’s RE Mission. Bondada Group has been chosen as the design and construction partner for this initiative, highlighting confidence in its expertise and execution strength.

The partnership marks an important milestone for Bondada Engineering, which recently achieved 1 GW of commissioned solar capacity. With 1.8 GW under execution, 2.5 GW in new orders, and an additional 2 GW of IPP works underway in Andhra Pradesh, the company is positioned to play a pivotal role in advancing the nation’s renewable energy goals.
