Cosmic PV Power Expands into Energy Storage with 2 GW BESS Line in Partnership with Indygreen

Cosmic PV Power has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indygreen Technologies at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025 to set up a 2 GW lithium-ion battery production line dedicated to Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The facility is expected to be commissioned by March 2026.

The partnership marks Cosmic PV Power’s formal entry into India’s energy storage market, reinforcing its goal of offering integrated solar and storage solutions. According to the company, the collaboration will strengthen domestic manufacturing and support India’s energy security mission.

This announcement follows the company’s recent acquisition of 60 acres in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, for a 4 GW solar cell line. With rapid capacity expansion—from a 200 MW module maker to a 3 GW integrated gigafactory—Cosmic PV Power is positioning itself as a key player in India’s transition toward sustainable and self-reliant clean energy.
