Cosmic PV Power Ramps Up Module Capacity to 3 GW with 1.6 GW TOPCon G12R Line

Feb 16, 2026

Cosmic PV Power has commissioned an additional 1.6 GW solar module production line, increasing its total installed manufacturing capacity to 3 GW. The new line, operational from January 2026, is built on advanced TOPCon G12R technology, widely adopted in next-generation high-efficiency projects globally.

With this addition, the company enhances its ability to cater to large independent power producer (IPP) projects demanding high-performance modules. The expanded portfolio now includes three major technology platforms under one roof: Mono PERC Glass-to-Backsheet, TOPCon M10R Glass-to-Glass, and TOPCon G12R Glass-to-Glass modules.

The capacity expansion is expected to support higher revenues in the upcoming financial year while enabling the company to meet large-scale orders without compromising delivery timelines. Cosmic has built its reputation through timely execution, strong OEM/ODM partnerships, and consistent quality standards.

Diversification into Storage and Cell Manufacturing

Further advancing its integrated energy strategy, Cosmic has initiated the development of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility in Surat, Gujarat. The unit will be located alongside its existing 3 GW module plant, creating operational synergies and strengthening its position as a comprehensive energy solutions provider.

Additionally, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has allotted 60 acres of land in Narmadapuram for the company’s upcoming solar cell manufacturing facility. Construction is expected to begin in March 2026, marking Cosmic’s entry into backward integration within the solar value chain.
