Dec 05, 2025

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. (Dicabs), a Gujarat-based manufacturer of transmission cables and conductors, has secured a Letter of Intent (LOI) worth Rs 747.64 crore from Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL).

According to the company’s regulatory filing, the order covers the supply of 2,126 km of 33 kV high-voltage (HV) cables and 3,539 km of 3.3 kV solar medium-voltage (MV) cables for AGEL’s large-scale renewable energy developments in Khavda, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. The purchase order has been placed on a kilometre-rate basis with price variation (PV) formula, and the complete delivery is scheduled by December 2026.

AGEL is currently building the world’s largest renewable energy park, a 30 GW facility spread across 538 sq km of barren land in Khavda. The company has already commissioned 2,824.1 MW of renewable energy capacity at the site.

Dicabs, one of India’s oldest cable and conductor manufacturers, operates five CCV lines and has an annual installed production capacity of 9,600 km. Its operations span across the country, supported by a major manufacturing facility spread over 110 acres in Vadodara.
