Elan Energy Secures PMC Contract for Bharat Petroleum Corporation’s CBG Project in Hubli

Elan Energy has been awarded the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) contract for Bharat Petroleum Corporation’s Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)-based Compressed Biogas (CBG) project in Hubli–Dharwad, Karnataka.

The upcoming facility will process 150 TPD of MSW to produce 5.5 TPD of CBG, strengthening BPCL’s waste-to-energy roadmap and contributing to India’s broader low-carbon transition. The project is expected to significantly reduce landfill pressure, enhance waste segregation practices, and improve sustainability across the Hubli–Dharwad urban region.

Under the PMC mandate, Elan Energy will be responsible for engineering design, procurement support, vendor evaluation, construction supervision, commissioning, and performance monitoring, ensuring timely and technically compliant project execution.

In addition to this project, Elan Energy has also secured PMC contracts for 17 other CBG projects awarded by Bharat Petroleum Corporation across India.
