Enlight Metals Plans to Enable Over 1 GW of Solar Capacity with Galvalume Structures in Two Years
Jan 23, 2026
Enlight Metals, an AI-powered metal aggregation platform, has outlined plans to support more than 1,000 MW of cumulative solar capacity over the next two years through its Galvalume-coated steel solar mounting structures, reinforcing its contribution to India’s clean energy build-out.
The company entered the solar infrastructure space in July 2025, focusing on engineered Galvalume-based mounting solutions for utility-scale and large commercial solar installations. Since then, Enlight Metals has developed a project pipeline running into double-digit megawatts, with ongoing engagements across western and southern regions of the country.
As part of its expansion strategy, the company intends to extend its solar operations into additional high-growth markets nationwide. The solar vertical strengthens Enlight Metals’ position as a technology-enabled materials platform operating at the convergence of metals, infrastructure, and renewable energy.
Commenting on the strategy, Vedant Goel, Founder and CEO of Enlight Metals, said that the next phase of India’s solar growth will depend not only on capacity additions but also on the durability, execution certainty, and long-term performance of supporting infrastructure. He added that by combining Galvalume-specific structural engineering with AI-driven planning, the company enables developers to scale projects while reducing material inefficiencies and improving project timelines and lifecycle costs.
Enlight Metals uses its AI-driven platform to integrate project design inputs with Galvalume demand forecasting, supplier allocation, and logistics planning. This approach allows for precise material planning, lower wastage, and real-time visibility from manufacturing through site delivery, helping mitigate execution risks and delays.
The company’s core offering includes the design, supply, and execution support of ground-mounted Galvalume solar structures. Enlight Metals works closely with EPC contractors, independent power producers, and industrial clients on captive and open-access solar projects, where structural reliability and lifecycle economics play a critical role.
