Greenzo Energy and Lord’s Mark Industries Partner to Set Up 60 MW Green Hydrogen Projects in Uttar Pradesh

Feb 18, 2026

Five-year agreement to roll out 60 MW green hydrogen capacity along with rooftop solar and battery storage systems across Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Jhansi and Lucknow. Greenzo Energy India and Lord’s Mark Industries have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly advance green hydrogen and renewable energy initiatives across Uttar Pradesh.

As part of the agreement, the two companies plan to develop nearly 60 MW of green hydrogen capacity. The projects will also integrate rooftop solar installations paired with battery energy storage systems (BESS) in key cities such as Gorakhpur, Aligarh, Jhansi and Lucknow.

Under the partnership structure, Greenzo Energy will act as the technology provider and EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) partner, managing project design, equipment supply, construction and commissioning. Lord’s Mark Industries will serve as the developer and investor, handling funding, regulatory clearances, overall project development and commercial planning.

The collaboration follows Lord’s Mark Industries’ earlier MoU with the Government of Uttar Pradesh for renewable energy expansion, which involves a proposed investment exceeding Rs2,000 crore. The new agreement is expected to boost the state’s green hydrogen ecosystem and support efforts toward industrial decarbonisation.

Sandeep Agarwal, Managing Director of Greenzo Energy India, stated that the partnership aims to accelerate large-scale deployment of green hydrogen infrastructure. He noted that combining the company’s indigenous hydrogen technologies and EPC capabilities with Lord’s Mark’s development expertise would contribute to Uttar Pradesh’s renewable energy ambitions and India’s broader clean energy goals.

Sachidanand Upadhyay, Managing Director of Lord’s Mark Industries, said the alliance brings together strong project development experience and established hydrogen technology capabilities. He added that the initiative aligns with the state’s renewable energy roadmap and is expected to deliver sustainable, long-term economic and environmental gains.

The MoU will remain in effect for five years, providing a formal framework for joint participation in upcoming green hydrogen and renewable energy opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.

The strategic partnership strengthens Greenzo Energy’s position in delivering scalable and commercially viable hydrogen solutions, while further establishing Uttar Pradesh as a growing destination for clean energy investment.
