Hero Future Energies Commissions 29 MWp Solar Project in Karnataka

Hero Future Energies (HFE) has announced the commissioning of its 29 MWp Open Access Solar Project in Chitradurga, Karnataka. The project is set to generate approximately 33 million units of clean energy annually, supplying renewable power to prominent corporations, including BASF India.

The project will play a significant role in mitigating climate change, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by an estimated 31,624 tonnes annually. This aligns with India’s clean energy and climate action goals, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to sustainable development.

With this new project, Hero Future Energies further strengthens its footprint in Karnataka. “This project underscores our dedication to industrial decarbonization and the advancement of clean energy solutions,” the company stated.
