Juniper Green Energy Brings 64 MWp of Renewable Capacity Online Ahead of Schedule in Gujarat and Maharashtra
Oct 24, 2025
Juniper Green Energy has successfully commissioned a total of 64 MWp of new renewable energy capacity across projects in Gujarat and Maharashtra, achieving both well before their scheduled completion dates.
The company commissioned 28 MW of wind power as part of its 70 MW project located in Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat, through its subsidiary Juniper Green Kite. The wind capacity was brought online on October 15, 2025—around four months ahead of its Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD) of February 7, 2026. The project operates under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) in February 2024.
In Maharashtra, Juniper Green Energy also commissioned the 36 MWp solar component of its 133 MWp hybrid project in the Nanded district, managed by its subsidiary Juniper Green Spark Ten. The solar plant became operational on October 12, 2025, marking a remarkable 13-month early completion compared to its scheduled date of November 17, 2026. The project is backed by a PPA with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL), executed in November 2024.
Ankush Malik, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, said, “The early commissioning of both projects across Gujarat and Maharashtra reflects our strong execution capabilities and commitment to accelerating India’s renewable transition. We are proud to consistently deliver sustainable power ahead of schedule, contributing to the nation’s clean energy goals.”
With these milestones, Juniper Green Energy continues to reinforce its position as a key contributor to India’s renewable energy growth, focusing on timely project execution and reliable green power delivery.
