Jyoti Structures Energises Crucial 400 kV Transmission Links in Ahmedabad

The EPC company powers up major sections of the Pirana–Ahmedabad 400 kV multi-circuit corridor, reinforcing Gujarat’s transmission backbone. Jyoti Structures Limited (JSL), a publicly listed Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) firm focused on power transmission infrastructure, has announced the successful charging of key stretches of the 400 kV multi-circuit transmission network connecting Pirana and Ahmedabad. The development represents a significant advancement in the execution of the overall project.

The transmission line linking Torrent Power Grid (TPL), Pirana to Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), Ahmedabad (CKT-1) was energised on February 19, 2026. On the same day, the line between PGCIL, Pirana and PGCIL, Ahmedabad was also successfully brought into operation.

The commissioning was completed after addressing several operational and technical complexities, ensuring that the infrastructure was activated safely, efficiently, and in accordance with reliability standards.

Commenting on the achievement, Rajesh Kumar Singh, CEO of Jyoti Structures, stated that the energisation marks an important step toward completing the full transmission corridor. He noted that the milestone underscores the company’s commitment to timely project delivery while upholding stringent safety practices. Singh also acknowledged the cooperation and coordination of all stakeholders and expressed appreciation to Torrent Power Grid for its continued support and confidence throughout the project.
