KEC International Wins Fresh Domestic Contracts Worth INR 1,150 Crore Across Power and Civil Segments
Dec 15, 2025
KEC International Ltd., the infrastructure EPC arm of the RPG Group, has announced the receipt of new orders in India valued at Rs 1,150 crore, spanning its transmission and distribution (T&D) and civil engineering businesses.
In the T&D segment, the company has secured its largest-ever domestic contract from a well-known private sector developer. The order involves the execution of a 765 kV transmission line along with a 765/400 kV air-insulated substation (AIS), to be delivered on a lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) basis. The project is aimed at supporting the evacuation of renewable energy within the country.
Separately, KEC International’s civil division has received an additional order for civil and structural works related to a 150 MW thermal power plant, awarded by a leading private sector client.
Commenting on the new contracts, Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEC International, said the order wins represent a significant milestone, particularly the composite T&D project that strengthens the company’s participation in renewable energy evacuation infrastructure. He noted that the new contract has materially increased the proportion of private-sector customers in the company’s India T&D order book, while the civil business continues to expand its presence in the thermal power segment.
He further added that, with these latest wins, the company’s year-to-date order intake has exceeded Rs 18,000 crore, reinforcing confidence in achieving its full-year order intake guidance.
KEC International operates across multiple infrastructure verticals, including power transmission and distribution, civil construction, railways, urban infrastructure, renewable energy, oil and gas pipelines, and cables. The company is currently executing projects in more than 30 countries and maintains a global footprint across over 110 countries, covering EPC services as well as the supply of transmission towers and cables.
