KP Energy Bags 91.4 MW Wind-Solar Hybrid Project from JK Paper in Gujarat

Mar 30, 2026

KP Energy has secured a 91.4 MW wind-solar hybrid power project from JK Paper in Gujarat, further strengthening its presence in India’s renewable energy sector. The project has been awarded through a Letter of Award (LoA) and will be executed on a turnkey basis.

Under the scope of the project, KP Energy will handle end-to-end responsibilities, including engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning. The company will also develop the necessary evacuation infrastructure, ensure grid connectivity, obtain regulatory approvals, and provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for both wind and solar components.

The company stated that this order highlights its strong execution capabilities in delivering integrated hybrid energy projects and enhances its future growth visibility in the clean energy space. The project is expected to further solidify KP Energy’s position as a reliable developer of renewable energy solutions.

This development follows another recent win, where KP Energy secured a 100 MW ISTS-connected wind power project from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) under Tranche XIX at a tariff of INR 3.67 per kWh.

As of December 2025, KP Energy’s project pipeline exceeded 2.18 GW, taking its total renewable portfolio to over 3.29 GW. The company has already installed more than 1.11 GW of capacity, spanning both state and central grid-connected projects. Additionally, its O&M portfolio has crossed 644 MW, while its independent power producer (IPP) assets stand at 48.5 MW.

Looking ahead, KP Group has set an ambitious target of achieving over 10 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030, reflecting its long-term commitment to supporting India’s clean energy transition.
