Mitarsh E-tech LLP Initiates Construction of 25,000 MT E-Waste Recycling Facility in Gujarat

Mitarsh E-tech LLP has commenced construction of a new electronic waste recycling plant in Gujarat, marking a significant step toward strengthening India’s formal e-waste management infrastructure. The facility, once operational, will be capable of processing up to 25,000 metric tons of e-waste annually, positioning it among the country’s larger dedicated recycling plants.
The company, a subsidiary of Mitarsh Energy Pvt. Ltd., conducted the groundbreaking ceremony at Varmor village in Mandal Taluka, Gujarat, in the presence of Gujarat Viramgam MLA Hardik Patel. According to the company, the plant is expected to become operational within six months of construction.
Mitarsh E-tech stated that the facility will focus on scientific e-waste treatment and efficient resource recovery, contributing to environmentally responsible disposal practices and reduced ecological impact.
Commenting on the development, Harsh Patel and Mhit Patel, Directors of Mitarsh Energy, said the initiative aligns with the company’s long-term vision of building one of India’s most advanced e-waste recycling ecosystems, while creating sustainable value for future generations.
The project is also expected to have a positive socio-economic impact on the region, with the company estimating the creation of 75 to more than 100 direct employment opportunities once operations begin.
Mitarsh Energy, the parent entity, continues to scale its sustainability-driven portfolio. The company currently oversees over 9 MWp of solar assets and manages more than 9 GW of solar and wind Balance of Plant (BOP) operations across India for independent power producers and industrial clients.
