MOIL Issues Tender for 15 MW Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh
Nov 03, 2025
MOIL Ltd., the state-owned manganese mining company, has invited bids to develop a 15 MW AC solar PV project with seasonal tilt at Rajgarh Khas, Madhya Pradesh.
The project, valued at approximately Rs 63.79 crore, covers design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning, along with five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance. The plant must be completed within six months of the contract award.
Bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 50 lakh, with the bid submission deadline set for December 2, 2025, and techno-commercial bids opening on December 4, 2025.
All major components — including PV modules, inverters, and cables — must be certified under IEC/IS standards by NABL-accredited testing centers in India.
Eligible bidders should have completed solar projects of at least 6 MW capacity within the last seven years and must have handled O&M of a 6 MW grid-connected solar plant for at least two years during the same period. Financially, the bidder’s average annual turnover over the past three years should be at least 30% of the project’s estimated cost.
The initiative is part of MOIL’s ongoing expansion into renewable energy to support sustainable operations and reduce its carbon footprint.
