Mufin Green Finance Secures ?324 Crore Through Preferential Equity and Warrants Issue

Mufin Green Finance has raised approximately Rs 324 crore through a preferential allotment of equity shares and convertible warrants, strengthening its capital base to support expansion in sustainable lending and technology-driven financial solutions.

Under the fundraising exercise, the company issued 2,49,30,765 fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of Rs 1 each at an issue price of Rs 98 per share, which includes a premium of Rs 97. In addition, 76,53,061 warrants were allotted at the same price, which can be converted into equity shares in the future in accordance with applicable regulations.

The preferential issue attracted participation from a diverse group of investors, including institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, and promoter entities. Notable investors participating in the round include Sageone Capital, Sandeep Kapadia, DS Group, and the MMG Family Office. The promoter group, Hindon Mercantile, subscribed to the warrants portion of the issue.

Following the allotment, the company’s paid-up equity share capital increased from Rs 17.32 crore to Rs 19.82 crore, reflecting the addition of new shares issued through the preferential placement.

Commenting on the development, Kapil Garg stated that the successful closure of the Rs 324 crore equity round with participation from prominent investors will help accelerate the company’s growth plans. He added that the additional capital will support increased disbursements, improved operational efficiency, and rising demand for sustainable lending solutions.

The fresh funding is expected to strengthen the company’s balance sheet and expand its lending capacity, particularly in areas such as impact financing, insurance premium financing, salary advances for government employees, and technology-driven financial services.

With growing demand for green and sustainable financing solutions, the capital infusion positions Mufin Green Finance to scale its operations and capture emerging opportunities in India’s rapidly evolving sustainable finance ecosystem.
