NHPC Invites Bids for 1,098 kW Rooftop Solar Projects Under PM Surya Ghar Yojana

NHPC Ltd. has issued a tender for the development of rooftop solar power projects totaling 1,098 kW on buildings of NHPC Ltd. in Zone-IV (North East Power Stations) under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The project is to be completed within 9 months, with the developer also providing 5 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance.

The last date of Bid Submission date is 15th January, 2025. The Techno-Commercial Bid Opening date is 21st January, 2025.

The bidder must have designed, supplied, erected, and commissioned solar PV-based grid-connected plants with a cumulative installed capacity of at least 400 kWp, including one plant of 40 kWp or more. Alternatively, the bidder can be a developer of solar PV-based plants or have executed projects in the process or infrastructure industry worth at least INR 4 crore in the last 10 years.

The selected developer is expected to execute the project and manage operations for a period of five years.
