NLC India Seeks Suppliers for 579.74 MWp Solar Modules for Rajasthan Project
Dec 03, 2025
NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL), acting on behalf of its renewable energy arm NLC India Renewable Ltd. (NIRL), has released a tender to source 579.74 MWp of crystalline solar PV modules for its large-scale solar development in Rajasthan. The procurement is part of the company’s broader push to rapidly scale up its renewable energy capacity.
The modules will be deployed at the upcoming 810 MW solar project located within the RVUN Solar Park at Pugal in Bikaner. The tender scope includes the manufacturing, supply, packing, forwarding, transportation, and transit insurance of the modules until delivery at the project site.
The tender document is priced at INR 20,000, and bidders are required to furnish a bid security of INR 4.32 crore. A virtual pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10 December, while the final date for submitting bids is 30 December, with Part-I bids opening on the same day.
Eligibility is restricted to manufacturers listed under the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) who meet the specified technical standards. Participants must have previously supplied a minimum of 200 MWp of solar modules or cells, including at least one order of 50 MWp or more. Group entities may participate jointly through a formal undertaking.
Financial criteria require bidders to have a positive net worth and an average annual turnover of at least INR 173 crore over the past three financial years. Mandatory submissions include GST registration, PAN details, audited financial records, and documentation proving past performance.
NLCIL has also noted that it retains the right to verify bidder claims, inspect manufacturing facilities, and reject any proposal without providing a reason. The tender is aligned with the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017, giving eligible domestic suppliers a purchase preference.
