Nov 11, 2025

NTPC Limited has issued a tender inviting domestic bids for the comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) of its 100 MW (AC) floating solar PV plant located at Ramagundam, Telangana. The project comprises 40 blocks, each with a capacity of 2.5 MW, and the contract will span three years (36 months).

The tender, issued under the Domestic Competitive Bidding framework, requires bids to be submitted through NTPC’s e-procurement portal. The last date for submission is November 26, 2025, with technical bids scheduled to open on November 28, 2025.

An Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 20 lakh is mandatory for participation. The tender will be governed by an Integrity Pact, ensuring transparency, and no reverse auction will be conducted.

In alignment with NTPC’s procurement policies, the tender also provides preferential benefits to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, bidders must have successfully executed installation, commissioning, or O&M of a grid-connected solar power project with a minimum capacity of 20 MW within the last seven years. Financially, bidders are required to demonstrate an average annual turnover of at least Rs 7.08 crore over the preceding three financial years, with a net worth not less than 100% of their paid-up share capital.

Participation is restricted to Class-I local suppliers under the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017, requiring a minimum of 60% local content.

This O&M tender underscores NTPC’s continued commitment to sustainable energy operations and maintenance excellence, further strengthening its leadership in floating solar technology within India’s renewable energy landscape.
