NTPC Wins 70,000 TPA Green Ammonia Auction at Record-Low Rs51.80/kg

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd (NTPCREL) has emerged as the successful bidder for the entire 70,000 tonnes per annum green ammonia capacity in an e-reverse auction held by SECI on August 4, 2025.
The winning bid was a record-low tariff of Rs51.80 per kg, signaling strong momentum in India’s push towards affordable green hydrogen derivatives.
