Pahal Solar Partners with RenewSys for 500 MW EPE Encapsulant Supply
Dec 22, 2025
Pahal Solar has entered into a supply agreement with RenewSys for the procurement of 500 MW of high-performance EPE (EVA–POE–EVA) encapsulants, supporting the company’s expanding solar module manufacturing operations. The supply is scheduled to be executed between November 2025 and March 2026.
The agreement brings together two Indian solar manufacturers with a shared focus on strengthening domestic manufacturing and supply chains. Under the partnership, RenewSys will supply EPE encapsulants engineered for enhanced durability, superior PID resistance, and long-term performance, making them suitable for advanced solar cell technologies, including TOPCon.
By sourcing encapsulants domestically, Pahal Solar aims to reduce its dependence on imported materials while aligning its manufacturing strategy with India’s broader push toward self-reliant renewable energy infrastructure.
Commenting on the partnership, Paresh Shingala, Chairman and Managing Director of Pahal Solar, stated that the company’s focus on quality remains central to its operations. He noted that integrating RenewSys’ materials into production will help ensure consistency, durability, and long-term performance in its solar modules.
Pahal Solar said it continues to prioritize module reliability and customer satisfaction through careful material selection and technology adoption. Manish Shingala, Director at Pahal Solar, highlighted that under the strategic leadership of Romit Patel, Chief Technology Officer, the company is advancing innovation with a focus on 520 GSM EPE technology, reinforcing its commitment to future-ready solar solutions.
From RenewSys’ perspective, Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, said the agreement reflects growing confidence in the company’s EPE technology. He added that supplying domestically designed and manufactured encapsulants supports India’s Atmanirbhar manufacturing mission while contributing to a stronger and more resilient solar ecosystem.
As demand for high-efficiency solar modules continues to rise and advanced cell technologies gain wider adoption, both companies indicated that such collaborations will play a key role in improving supply security and strengthening India’s solar value chain.
