Parag Sharma Announces Launch of Resolven, Sets 10 GW Renewable Energy Target by 2030
Feb 23, 2026
Parag Sharma has unveiled the launch of Resolven, marking a new milestone in his renewable energy journey. The newly introduced independent power producer (IPP) aims to build a reputation for addressing complex energy challenges while delivering sustained value and contributing meaningfully to India’s clean energy transition.
Resolven’s core mission is to develop, construct, and operate clean energy assets by blending disciplined capital deployment, strong local execution capabilities, and a solution-oriented approach. The company intends to provide dependable outcomes for customers, partners, and investors while strengthening the country’s decarbonization efforts.
The platform begins its operations with the backing of Zelstra India’s existing portfolio and is further supported by significant investment from EQT, the Sweden-based private equity firm known for its strong interest in India’s renewable energy sector. Sharma’s continued association with EQT, following his earlier engagement at O2 Power, reinforces the strategic alignment behind Resolven’s long-term vision.
With an ambitious roadmap, Resolven is targeting 10 GW of renewable capacity by 2030 across core renewable segments and related adjacencies. The company plans to achieve this growth through a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
The foundation for this scale-up is already in place, supported by a seasoned team that has built a project pipeline of 2.7 GW. With this early momentum, Resolven is preparing to accelerate its growth trajectory in the coming years.
Emphasizing values such as performance excellence, accountability, collaboration, trust, and adaptability, Sharma underscored his commitment to fostering a unified and purpose-driven organization. He expressed gratitude to stakeholders, industry colleagues, and team members for their continued confidence and support, while signaling that the next phase will demand even greater dedication and collective effort.
