Power Exchange India Appoints Vivek Singla as Managing Director and CEO

Power Exchange India Limited (PXIL) has announced the appointment of Vivek Singla as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective November 10, 2025.

Bringing over 35 years of extensive experience across the power sector, Singla’s leadership spans generation, transmission, distribution, power management, renewable energy, and green technologies.

An alumnus of the Delhi Institute of Technology, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), and the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, Singla is widely regarded for his strategic foresight, business acumen, and his ability to build and scale innovative energy enterprises.

Before joining PXIL, Singla served as President and Head of Green Hydrogen and Transmission Businesses at ReNew Power, where he played a key role in advancing initiatives in emerging energy technologies and decarbonisation efforts.

With his appointment, PXIL aims to strengthen its position as a leading power trading platform and accelerate innovation in India’s evolving energy market.
