Rajasthan Mandates Single Developer Connect Portal for Renewable Energy Project Registrations
Apr 20, 2026
The state has introduced a unified digital system to streamline renewable energy project approvals, covering multiple segments and enabling fully online connectivity processing through integration with RVPN.
Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited has announced that its Developer Connect Portal will now serve as the mandatory platform for registering all renewable energy (RE) projects across Rajasthan. Developers operating in any renewable segment within the state are required to use this centralized system for project registration and processing.
The portal encompasses a wide range of RE categories, including solar, wind, hybrid projects, renewable energy parks, biomass, waste-to-energy, KUSUM solar registrations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), pumped storage projects (PSP), green hydrogen, bio-energy, as well as wind and solar monitoring stations. This comprehensive coverage is aimed at bringing all renewable initiatives under a single digital framework.
According to RRECL, the platform has already seen significant traction. Around 950 applications totaling 1,752 MW capacity have been registered under the KUSUM scheme, while RE park applications representing 12,290 MW have also been successfully processed through the system.
A key feature of the portal is the complete digitization of the connectivity approval process. Through integration with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, developers can now submit, track, and obtain approvals for grid connectivity entirely online. This eliminates manual intervention, accelerates approvals, and improves coordination between agencies. So far, connectivity applications covering 1,231.26 MW have been processed via the platform.
RRECL highlighted that the initiative is expected to boost transparency, operational efficiency, and investor confidence in the state’s renewable energy ecosystem. It also aligns with the broader objectives of the Government of India to promote clean energy growth while improving ease of doing business through digital transformation.
