RenewSys India Secures 125 MWp TOPCon Module Supply Deal with ENGIE for Bikaner Project

Feb 24, 2026

The company will deliver high-efficiency TOPCon modules between February and April 2026 for ENGIE’s upcoming solar installation in Rajasthan. RenewSys India has entered into a supplier agreement with ENGIE for the provision of 125 MWp of TOPCon solar photovoltaic modules. The deliveries are slated to take place from February 2026 through April 2026.

According to the company, the modules will be installed at ENGIE’s solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, contributing to the expansion of its renewable energy portfolio in India.

Under the terms of the contract, RenewSys will supply its 132X G12R TOPCon Glass-to-Glass modules. These modules are engineered for high efficiency and dependable performance, particularly in high-temperature environments. Featuring a low temperature coefficient, the technology minimises power losses during elevated temperatures and supports stable energy output over the lifespan of the project.

Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of RenewSys India, stated that as India’s solar capacity continues to grow, ensuring technology reliability and quality has become increasingly important. He noted that the partnership with ENGIE highlights a shared commitment to durability and advanced technology. By providing domestically manufactured TOPCon modules, the company aims to strengthen the development of resilient solar assets aligned with India’s clean energy goals.

RenewSys describes itself as India’s first integrated manufacturer of solar PV modules, with a module production capacity of 5.5 GW. The company also has manufacturing capacities of 9 GW for encapsulants and 4 GW for backsheets. In addition, it is in the process of commissioning a new 2.5 GW high-efficiency solar cell production line.
