Nov 15, 2025
Shirdi Sai Electricals (SSEL) Group and its subsidiary Indosol Solar have signed three major MoUs with the Andhra Pradesh government worth INR 30,650 crore, covering clean energy expansion and key infrastructure projects. The agreements were formalised during the 30th CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam.
The first MoU involves a INR 5,000-crore manufacturing facility for transformer components and wind masts at the Kopparthy Industrial Area in Kadapa.
The second, valued at INR 23,450 crore, outlines a large-scale renewable energy plan that includes solar and wind projects, battery storage systems, a dedicated transmission line, and an advanced power management technology centre.
The third MoU, worth INR 2,200 crore, focuses on coastal infrastructure such as a 200 MLD desalination plant, a captive jetty and barge dock at Karedu, and a shipping berth with bonded warehouse at Ramayapatnam in Nellore district.
SSEL said these investments will accelerate Andhra Pradesh’s industrial growth, clean energy adoption, and job creation. Indosol Solar is also moving toward 10 GW of integrated solar module manufacturing capacity by 2026, supported by the PLI scheme. Phase-1 includes INR 15,000 crore in investment, with 5 GW expected online by 2025 and the full 10 GW by late 2026.
