Dec 01, 2025

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWREL) has entered a five-year strategic partnership with Adani Green Energy and received its first purchase order under this agreement. The contract covers the Balance of System (BoS) package for three solar projects being developed at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat.

According to the company, the BoS scope includes supply of equipment and on-site services, with the total order valued at approximately Rs1,381 crore, excluding taxes.

SWREL is currently working on around 6 GW of projects in the Khavda region, of which nearly 5 GW is expected to be completed within this fiscal year. The newly awarded 1 GW project further reinforces the company’s strong presence in Gujarat.

Commenting on the milestone, Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, said the five-year strategic partnership with Adani Green, along with securing its largest domestic EPC order of the fiscal year, strengthens the company’s leadership position in India’s rapidly expanding solar EPC sector.

With this latest contract, SWREL’s total order inflow for the current fiscal has surpassed Rs6,450 crore, Thakur added.
