Suzlon Energy Appoints Ajay Kapur as Group CEO Effective February 24, 2026

Suzlon Energy has announced the appointment of Ajay Kapur as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective February 24, 2026.

With more than 36 years of professional experience, Kapur will lead Suzlon’s next phase of transformation and expansion. In his new role, he will focus on scaling operations, strengthening business verticals, and building organizational capabilities to support long-term growth. He brings over a decade of experience serving as CEO of large, publicly listed companies across sectors including infrastructure, construction, power, and heavy metals.

Kapur has played a key role in driving sustained growth, operational efficiency, and financial resilience in the organizations he has led. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of Ambuja Cements Limited, part of the Adani Group.

At Suzlon, Kapur will report to Chairman and Managing Director Vinod Tanti as the company advances its strategic roadmap in India’s renewable energy sector.
