TANFAC Industries Wins Rs 732 Crore Order for Solar-Grade DHF Supply

Nov 06, 2025

TANFAC Industries Ltd. has secured a major order worth Rs 732 crore from Kredence Electronics Materials India for the supply of solar-grade diluted hydrofluoric acid (DHF). The agreement will be fulfilled over a period of three and a half years, aligning with the growing demand for high-purity chemicals in India’s expanding solar manufacturing ecosystem.

Commenting on the development, Ravichandran N R, President and CFO, TANFAC Industries, said,

“This milestone order reflects the strong confidence our partners have in TANFAC’s quality, reliability, and technical expertise. It reinforces our role as a key contributor to India’s advanced materials and renewable energy value chain.”

The order follows the successful commissioning of the second phase of TANFAC’s solar-grade DHF facility, which doubled its capacity from 5,000 TPA to 10,000 TPA.

A joint venture between Anupam Rasayan India Ltd. and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), TANFAC operates a 60-acre chemical manufacturing complex in SIPCOT Industrial Estate, Cuddalore, producing hydrofluoric acid and its derivatives for diverse industrial applications.

With this order, TANFAC further strengthens its leadership in specialty fluorochemicals and expands its footprint in the solar materials segment, supporting India’s domestic manufacturing and clean energy ambitions.
