Tata Power Q1FY26 Profit Rises 6.2% to Rs1,262 Crore, Renewables and Manufacturing Boost Growth

Tata Power reported a 6.2% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs1,262.3 crore for Q1 FY26, compared to Rs1,188.6 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations grew 4.6% to Rs18,035 crore, driven by robust performance in the renewable energy and solar manufacturing segments. The companyโ€™s EBITDA increased 17.2% to Rs4,139 crore, with EBITDA margins improving to 23%.

The renewables division stood out with a 95% YoY jump in profit after tax to Rs531 crore. Notably, the rooftop solar business saw revenue more than double, underscoring strong market traction. TP Solar, Tata Powerโ€™s solar manufacturing arm, contributed significantly with Rs100 crore in profit after tax, positioning itself as a major growth engine.

The results reflect Tata Power's successful diversification and strategic focus on clean energy and manufacturing, aligning with Indiaโ€™s broader energy transition goals.
