Tata Power Signs Supplementary PPA for Mundra Plant with GUVNL

Mar 25, 2026

Tata Power Company Limited has announced the execution of a supplementary Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for its Mundra-based power plant with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), following the temporary suspension of operations at the facility.

The company stated that similar agreements are expected to be finalized with other states, including Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana, where power supply arrangements are in place. These agreements are intended to streamline operations and ensure continuity in power distribution from the Mundra plant.

The disclosure was made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and has been formally communicated to both stock exchanges.

Tata Power noted that the development is part of its ongoing efforts to stabilize operations at the Mundra facility while maintaining commitments to its distribution partners across multiple states.
