Mar 23, 2026
Terra Clean has invited bids for the development of a 100 MW intrastate transmission system (InSTS)-connected wind power project in Gujarat, marking another step in expanding renewable energy capacity in the state.
The bidding deadline has been set for April 17, 2026, with bid opening scheduled on the same day. The project will be executed on a lump-sum turnkey basis and must be completed within 23 months, including integration at the 66 kV transmission level. The scope of work also includes comprehensive operation and maintenance services for a period of 10 years.
Bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs 2.369 crore along with a Rs 30,000 fee for the electronic tendering process. However, exemptions from EMD apply to government bodies, public sector undertakings, and eligible startups registered with the Government of India.
Eligibility criteria mandate that bidders must be Class-I local suppliers and demonstrate prior experience in executing wind energy projects. This includes at least one project of 15 MW and cumulative experience of 50 MW involving land acquisition, engineering, installation, and commissioning, along with power evacuation infrastructure at the 66 kV level.
Financial requirements include maintaining a positive net worth equivalent to paid-up share capital and achieving a minimum annual turnover of Rs 125 crore over the past three financial years.
As a subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Terra Clean’s initiative reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen renewable energy deployment and support India’s transition toward a cleaner and more sustainable power mix.
