Vertiv Launches Training Academy and Tech Excellence Center at Pune IBS Hub

Vertiv has launched a new Training Academy and Technology Excellence Center at its Pune Integrated Business Services (IBS) hub to enhance engineering capabilities, drive innovation, and support global digital infrastructure operations.

The Training Academy provides hands-on learning for engineers and data center professionals through live demonstrations, five dedicated training bays, and modular programs built around global standards. Participants receive practical exposure to cooling systems, power distribution technologies, and three-phase UPS solutions commonly used in modern data centers.

Alongside this, the Technology Excellence Center includes advanced engineering and R&D labs focused on refining power and thermal management solutions. These facilities enable testing, validation, and optimization of Vertiv’s digital infrastructure technologies, improving efficiency and reliability for data centers and telecom networks.

According to Vertiv, the new Pune hub will play a significant role in developing skilled talent for India’s fast-growing AI- and cloud-driven data center industry. The center is also expected to foster innovation, strengthen service readiness, and reinforce Pune’s emergence as a global engineering and technology hub.
