Vikram Solar Secures 378.75 MW Module Supply Contract from NTPC Green Energy

Feb 26, 2026

Vikram Solar has bagged an order to supply 378.75 MW of high-efficiency solar modules for a project awarded by NTPC Green Energy. The modules will be deployed for a 600 MW solar power project being developed near Nakhatrana in the Kutch district of Gujarat.

The project is being executed by Indian Oil NTPC Green Energy (INGEL), a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation and NTPC Limited. This marks Vikram Solar’s first large-scale collaboration with the joint venture, strengthening its presence in one of India’s key renewable energy hubs.

Under the contract, the company will deliver its advanced N-TOPCon modules, designed to offer improved efficiency, higher energy yield, and reliable performance for utility-scale installations. Supplies are scheduled to begin in the financial year 2025–26.

Company leadership described the order as a significant milestone, highlighting the strategic importance of the Gujarat market in India’s renewable expansion. The engagement is expected to pave the way for a long-term association while reinforcing Vikram Solar’s capabilities in executing large, technology-driven solar projects that support the country’s clean energy transition.
