Waaree Energies Bags 500 MW Solar Module Contract from Indian IPP

Waaree Energies Ltd. has secured a 500 MW solar module supply order from a prominent domestic Independent Power Producer (IPP), according to a regulatory disclosure. The contract is slated for execution during the financial year 2026–27.

Although the identity of the customer has not been revealed, the company described the buyer as a well-established player in India’s solar power generation segment. The agreement is a one-time supply contract and further strengthens Waaree’s domestic order pipeline.

The fresh order is expected to provide additional momentum to the company’s manufacturing operations while reinforcing its position in India’s expanding renewable energy market. With significant solar capacity additions planned nationwide, demand for locally manufactured modules continues to remain robust.

Waaree Energies indicated that further details regarding the contract will be shared through its official communication channels, underscoring its growing participation in large-scale solar deployment across the country.
