Waaree Energies Sets Benchmark in India’s Renewable Energy Sector with Environmental Product Declarations

Waaree Energies Ltd has made a significant stride in India’s renewable energy sector by becoming the first Indian solar panel manufacturer to publish independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its Bifacial MonoPERC and TOPCon solar panels.

Certified under The International EPD System and backed by comprehensive Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) from Sphera Solutions, these EPDs measure the environmental impact of the solar panels, covering everything from raw material extraction to disposal. Notably, Waaree’s TOPCon panels are recognized as ultra-low-carbon products, highlighting the company’s commitment to reducing environmental footprints.
