Zenergize Teams Up with Infineon to Strengthen Power Electronics for India’s Clean Energy Growth
Mar 20, 2026
Zenergize has formed a strategic alliance with Infineon Technologies to enhance its solar and distributed energy solutions by integrating advanced semiconductor technologies into its locally developed product range.
As part of the collaboration, Zenergize will adopt Infineon’s Silicon Carbide (SiC) power semiconductor devices across its portfolio. These components, backed by strong application support and technical expertise, are expected to boost system performance by improving efficiency, reliability, and overall durability.
Veer Karan Goyal, Founder and CTO of Zenergize, highlighted that India’s clean energy transition requires power-electronics systems that can perform efficiently under real-world conditions. He noted that the partnership provides access to globally established semiconductor technology while allowing Zenergize to continue designing and manufacturing solutions tailored for Indian requirements. He also emphasized that all operational data will remain hosted within India, ensuring compliance with data sovereignty norms.
Jens Reinstaedt, Vice President for Application Management Industrial and Infrastructure at Infineon Technologies, stated that India represents one of the most significant energy transition markets globally, and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting this journey as a long-term technology partner.
The partnership comes amid rapid expansion in India’s renewable energy sector, driven by government initiatives such as the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and increasing adoption of distributed solar and energy storage systems across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
With installations on the rise, there is a growing need for efficient and resilient power-electronics systems designed for India’s grid conditions. Infineon’s SiC technology is expected to enable higher efficiency, lower energy losses, and more compact, scalable system designs—key requirements for modern solar inverters, storage solutions, and grid-connected infrastructure.
Through this integration, Zenergize aims to further strengthen its capability to develop power-electronics products that can operate effectively in challenging environments, including high temperatures, voltage fluctuations, and space-constrained installations.
