ZN Shine Solarworld, RenewSys Sign 400 MW Encapsulant Supply Agreement

RenewSys has finalized a 400 MW solar encapsulant supply deal with ZN Shine Solarworld, a subsidiary of Solarworld Energy Solutions, marking a significant step as global module makers shift toward next-generation high-efficiency cell technologies. The agreement covers deliveries from November 2025 to February 2026 and strengthens RenewSys’s position in the advanced encapsulation materials segment.

RenewSys will supply its EPE encapsulants, engineered for PID resistance, durability, and long-term stability — features tailored for emerging high-efficiency architectures such as TOPCon. Commenting on the collaboration, Peeyush Salwan, President of Solarworld, said the partnership aligns with their new manufacturing expansion and ensures consistent access to high-quality encapsulants as the company scales up module production.

The deal highlights the growing importance of reliable component supply chains in the global PV industry. Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of RenewSys, noted that the agreement reflects ZN Shine Solarworld’s confidence in RenewSys’s technology and reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation and a robust solar value chain.
