ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 Highlights India’s Expanding Influence in the Global Automotive Aftermarket

The sixth edition of ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026, held at Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, reaffirmed India’s growing importance in the global automotive aftermarket, bringing together domestic and international stakeholders across the auto components value chain.

The three-day trade exhibition opened to strong industry participation, hosting more than 870 exhibitors, including a significant number of overseas companies. The event served as a key platform for technology showcases, business networking, and knowledge-driven discussions focused on the evolving automotive ecosystem.

Visitors to the exhibition represented a wide cross-section of the industry, including wholesalers, distributors, component traders, workshop and service station professionals, fleet operators, original equipment manufacturers, and technology providers. The show functioned as a major sourcing hub for aftermarket products, emerging vehicle technologies, and strategic partnerships.

The 2026 edition placed particular emphasis on the increasing scale and strategic relevance of India’s automotive aftermarket. Exhibits highlighted advancements in electrification, alternative fuels, sustainable mobility, and next-generation vehicle technologies, underlining India’s expanding role within global automotive supply chains.

International participation brought global best practices and advanced technologies to the Indian market, while simultaneously positioning India as a dependable manufacturing and sourcing destination. The presence of international pavilions further reflected the growing influence of Asian and global economies in shaping the future of the automotive aftermarket.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior representatives from industry and government, including Jitin Prasada, Union Minister of State for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology; Vikrampati Singhania, President, ACMA and Vice Chairman and Managing Director, JK Fenner (India); Sriram Viji, President, ACMA and Managing Director, Brakes India; Wolfgang Marzin, President and CEO, Messe Frankfurt GmbH; Michael Johannes, Vice President – Mobility and Logistics, Messe Frankfurt GmbH; Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings; and Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA.

Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Jitin Prasada said India is moving toward becoming a central force in the global economy. He noted that free trade agreements with the US and UK mark a significant shift in India’s growth trajectory and create new opportunities for the automotive sector. He added that policy support under the Electronic Components Manufacturing Scheme is strengthening domestic capabilities, particularly for electric vehicle and automotive components, positioning India as a trusted global supply partner.

Vikrampati Singhania highlighted the steady evolution of ACMA Automechanika New Delhi, stating that the exhibition has emerged as India’s largest and most focused platform for aftermarket auto components. He said the event reflects the industry’s resilience and ambition, with India increasingly recognized as both the world’s fastest-growing automotive market and a reliable global supplier of quality components and systems.

Raj Manek noted that the return of the exhibition after a two-year gap demonstrated strong participation from the auto components and aftermarket industries across India and overseas. He said the innovations on display aim to enhance India’s competitiveness and support its emergence as a global hub for auto component manufacturing.

Vinnie Mehta added that the exhibition addressed timely industry needs, with a strong focus on sustainable fuel technologies, clean mobility solutions, and improvements in quality and packaging standards to help Indian manufacturers better serve global markets.

ACMA Automechanika New Delhi 2026 features participation from leading Indian companies such as Advantec Wheels, Accurub Corptech, Ample Auto Tech, Autel India, Banco Products (India), Elofic Industries, Gates Corporation, JK Fenner India, Mann+Hummel Filter, Minda Corporation (Spark Minda), NRB Bearings, Schaeffler India, SKF India, Tata Autocomp, and ZF India, among others. International exhibitors include AutoTuner (FR Team International), GMB, Kamoi Kakoshi Co., Cinbar Otomotiv, Evolution SRL, Horpol, Horse Powertrain Solutions, Teknorot Otomotiv, and Nagano Industrial Unipersonale.

The exhibition is supported by several global and regional industry associations, including INEMI, ASPA, AIAWA, AAMPACT, ASA, EGEA, FIGIEFA, FAIASPDA, and Frost & Sullivan.
