Jan 19, 2026

ACME Solar Holdings has placed an additional 12 MW of wind power capacity into operation at its Surendranagar project in Gujarat, further advancing the phased development of the 100 MW wind facility.

With this latest commissioning, the project’s cumulative operational capacity has reached 68 MW, according to the company. The wind asset is being developed through ACME Solar’s subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy.

The Surendranagar wind project has been funded by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and executed using ACME Solar’s in-house engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) capabilities. The project deploys 4 MW wind turbine generators supplied by SANY.

Electricity generated from the wind facility will be sold under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), with a contract tenure of 25 years.

ACME Solar is an integrated renewable energy company with a diverse portfolio encompassing solar, wind, energy storage, firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE), and hybrid solutions. The company currently operates 2,958 MW of renewable energy capacity and has an additional 4,562 MW under construction, including approximately 15 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) installations.
