AXITEC Energy India Powers Chennai Housing Project with 540 kWp Rooftop Solar Installation

Feb 09, 2026

AXITEC Energy India has completed the installation of a 540 kWp rooftop solar power system at a high-end residential apartment complex in Chennai, marking another step forward in expanding clean energy adoption within urban housing developments.

The project features high-efficiency 590 Wp TOPCon solar modules supplied by AXITEC, designed to deliver strong performance, durability, and reliability under high-temperature conditions. The use of advanced TOPCon technology allows for improved energy generation, making the system particularly well-suited for space-constrained residential environments in major cities.

Engineering, procurement, and construction for the project were handled by Abhi Electricals & Engineering, which oversaw the system design, technical execution, and installation. The company’s role as EPC partner ensured the project met expected performance standards and quality requirements.

Commenting on the development, Tanmoy Duari, Chief Executive Officer of AXITEC Energy India, said the Chennai installation highlights the company’s focus on providing advanced solar solutions for India’s evolving residential sector. He added that TOPCon technology supports higher efficiency and long-term operational stability, helping residential communities move toward greater energy self-reliance.

The solar modules were supplied through AXITEC Energy India’s authorised distributor in Tamil Nadu, Uno Power, underscoring the company’s regional distribution strength and ability to support timely project delivery.

Once operational, the rooftop solar system is expected to help the residential complex lower its carbon footprint while achieving meaningful savings on electricity costs over the long term.
