Bhaskar Jyoti India Installs 1.4 MW Rooftop Solar Plant at Northern Coalfields Site in Madhya Pradesh

Bhaskar Jyoti India has completed the commissioning of a 1.4 MW grid-connected rooftop solar power project at the facilities of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, marking another step toward integrating clean energy solutions within public sector infrastructure.

The rooftop solar system has been deployed across several buildings within the NCL premises and was carried out as a full engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project. The scope of work included system design, engineering, procurement of components, installation, testing, and final commissioning. The installation has been developed to ensure efficient electricity generation, reliable operations, and smooth integration with the existing electrical infrastructure at the facility.

Along with completing the project, Bhaskar Jyoti India has also been assigned the responsibility for the long-term operation and maintenance (O&M) of the solar installation. This role will focus on maintaining system efficiency, ensuring operational reliability, and maximizing energy generation throughout the plant’s lifecycle.

Nitesh Gupta, Managing Director of Bhaskar Jyoti India, stated that the successful commissioning of the rooftop solar project at the NCL facility in Singrauli demonstrates the company’s strong project execution capabilities and dedication to delivering reliable renewable energy solutions. He added that being entrusted with both the implementation and long-term maintenance of the project reflects the confidence placed in the company’s expertise. According to him, the firm remains committed to supporting India’s transition toward cleaner energy through high-performance solar infrastructure.

The project supports Northern Coalfields’ broader sustainability initiatives by helping reduce carbon emissions while making productive use of available rooftop space for renewable energy generation.
