Bijliride has entered into a partnership with BGauss, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer, to accelerate the expansion of its electric scooter rental operations in major Indian cities. The collaboration is aimed at significantly scaling Bijliride’s fleet and strengthening access to reliable electric mobility solutions.

Under the agreement, BGauss will supply electric scooters that will form a key component of Bijliride’s rental and enterprise offerings. Bijliride plans to induct 7,000 additional BGauss scooters into its existing fleet of 3,000 vehicles, taking the total deployment to 10,000 electric two-wheelers by December 2026.

The scooters, designed with an emphasis on durability, comfort, and performance, align with Bijliride’s goal of delivering affordable and dependable electric mobility for individual users, gig economy workers, and business customers.

In the first phase of expansion, Bijliride will roll out BGauss-supported rental services across four major cities, beginning with Hyderabad, followed by Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi NCR. These locations have been selected based on strong demand for last-mile delivery, shared mobility, and sustainable urban transport.

Commenting on the partnership, Shivam Sisodiya, CEO and Co-Founder of Bijliride, said the collaboration supports the company’s objective of making electric mobility convenient and scalable. He noted that BGauss’s focus on engineering quality and rider comfort complements Bijliride’s full-stack mobility platform, enabling a seamless rental experience in high-demand urban markets.

Models such as the BGauss C12i Max, Oowah, and other variants deployed in Bijliride’s fleet feature removable lithium-ion batteries, extended riding range, robust suspension systems, smart connectivity, and weather-resistant construction. These features have contributed to fleet uptime levels exceeding 95 percent, supporting intensive urban commuting and logistics use cases.

Looking ahead, Bijliride aims to expand its footprint to more than 10 cities by the end of next year, scaling both B2B fleet partnerships and B2C rental services, while continuing to build a connected and dependable EV ecosystem for daily urban mobility.
