ElektrikExpress Rolls Out 500 Electric Delivery Cycles in Tier-1 Cities, Sets Ambitious Goal of 5,000+ EVs by 2026
Nov 14, 2025
Pune-based, AI-driven mobility platform ElektrikExpress has launched its first fleet of 500 electric delivery vehicles across six major Indian urban centers—Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Pune, Mumbai, and Thane—marking a significant step in its nationwide expansion strategy for sustainable last-mile logistics.
Alongside this rollout, the company has signed a series of LOIs and MoUs with ten leading quick-commerce companies, strengthening its position in India’s rapidly growing e-grocery and hyperlocal delivery markets. With demand rising sharply, ElektrikExpress plans to scale its fleet to more than 5,000 electric vehicles by March 2026.
At the core of the company’s operations is its proprietary MicroLogi™ logistics intelligence system, which powers a multi-vehicle portfolio designed for dense urban delivery environments. These include Electric Cargo Cycles (ECCs), Electric Two-Wheelers (E2Ws), and 2.5-wheel electric trikes. An additional 5,000 vehicles are planned for deployment in FY 2025–26 as quick-commerce volumes continue to increase.
Despite being operational for only six months, ElektrikExpress has already achieved notable milestones—over 100 metric tons of CO? emissions avoided, and livelihood creation for more than 300 women riders, who now represent nearly 70% of the company’s active fleet workforce. This strong participation reflects the company’s vision of building an inclusive, safety-focused, and environmentally responsible mobility ecosystem.
“We are creating India’s most inclusive and intelligent mobility platform, where sustainability, safety, and livelihood are interconnected,” said Chintamani Sardesai, Founder and CEO. “ElektrikExpress was never just about vehicles—it’s about purpose. With MicroLogi™ enhancing efficiency and Dial4567 strengthening safety, we’re building a resilient and empowered workforce that keeps cities moving responsibly.”
To further boost rider safety and operational security, ElektrikExpress has partnered with Dial4567 Workforce Shield, a nationwide platform providing emergency response services, real-time tracking, and community support for gig workers. The integration improves workforce confidence and reinforces the company’s safety framework.
During pilot deployments, MicroLogi™ demonstrated a 30% reduction in fleet downtime, using predictive maintenance and real-time analytics to enhance performance. This AI-driven optimisation enables delivery partners to improve uptime, reduce costs, and rely on more consistent fleet operations—critical advantages in high-volume, time-sensitive delivery environments.
