EMotorad has unveiled the upgraded X1 electric bicycle, featuring an improved battery, refreshed design, and a range of new colour options. The latest iteration of the X1 aims to combine affordability, performance, and everyday practicality, continuing its reputation as one of India’s most dependable e-bikes.

The new 36V 10.2Ah lithium-ion removable battery replaces the earlier 7.65Ah unit, increasing the e-bike’s range from around 35 km to up to 45 km on pedal-assist mode. Riders can now enjoy longer and smoother commutes with improved power efficiency.

The 2025 X1 comes in six new colours — Ruby Red, Arctic Blue, Phantom Grey, Sky Blue Firestream, Beige Desert Hawk, and Mint Green Blaze — offering more style choices for urban and leisure riders alike.

Built on a high-tensile steel frame with 100 mm front suspension and 27.5” x 2.1” nylon tyres, the X1 ensures stability and comfort on both city roads and uneven terrains. Designed for users between 5’3” and 6’0” in height and supporting up to 110 kg, it features a single-speed gear system, battery indicator display, and comes with a five-year frame warranty.

Priced at Rs27,999, the e-bike delivers excellent value in its segment and is available through EMotorad’s retail network and major online platforms.

Commenting on the launch, Kunal Gupta, Co-founder and CEO of EMotorad, said,

“Our vision with the refreshed X1 was simple — to make electric mobility more accessible, durable, and exciting. We listened to our riders, studied how India commutes, and designed an e-bike that’s practical, stylish, and sustainable at once.”

With its extended battery life, improved ergonomics, and fresh design, the upgraded X1 is positioned as a reliable and eco-friendly mobility choice for daily riders across India.
