Inox Wind Wins 229 MW in Fresh Orders from Leading Renewable Developers
Nov 07, 2025
Inox Wind has secured new orders totaling 229 MW, bolstering its project portfolio and reaffirming its position as a trusted partner for major renewable energy developers in India.
The company received a 160 MW order (comprising a firm 112 MW and an optional 48 MW extension) from a leading Indian independent power producer (IPP). The contract involves the supply of Inox’s 3.3 MW wind turbine generators for projects spread across multiple sites, along with limited-scope EPC and multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services.
In addition, Inox Wind bagged a repeat order for 69 MW from a global renewable energy group for a project in Maharashtra. This follows an earlier 153 MW order placed by the same client in March 2025, underscoring the company’s growing relationship and credibility among large clean energy players.
Commenting on the achievement, Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO – Renewables, INOXGFL Group, said,
“We are pleased to receive these significant new and repeat orders totaling 229 MW from our valued partners. Such continued trust reflects our strong technology foundation, execution excellence, and long-term service reliability.”
Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of Inox Wind, added that the company’s steady inflow of orders demonstrates the growing confidence in its 3 MW-class turbine platform and its expanding presence in India’s renewable energy market. He also noted that Inox Wind is in advanced talks for additional projects, aiming to close FY26 with an order book sufficient to support 18–24 months of execution.
