Jakson Group and OMC Power Partner for 50 MW Solar Rooftop Project in Uttar Pradesh

The Jakson Group, a leader in energy and infrastructure solutions, has partnered with OMC Power, Uttar Pradesh’s fastest-growing energy transition company, to execute a 50 MW solar rooftop project across the state.

Valued at approximately Rs200 crore, this ambitious initiative is one of India’s largest single solar rooftop orders. It aims to drive clean energy adoption across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh while promoting environmental sustainability.

The project is expected to reduce 62,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, equivalent to planting 2.5 million trees.

Jakson Group will lead the implementation of the solar rooftop systems, showcasing its expertise in large-scale renewable energy projects. The partnership was formalized in the presence of Mr. Sameer Gupta , Chairman and Managing Director of Jakson Group, and Mr. Rohit Chandra, Managing Director and CEO of OMC Power.
