Juniper Green Energy Secures 25-Year PPA with GUVNL for 50 MW Wind Project in Gujarat
Nov 14, 2025
Juniper Green Energy has finalized a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) through its subsidiary, Juniper Green BESS Delta, to develop a 50 MW wind power project in Gujarat.
The agreement, executed on November 7, 2025, will span 25 years, with the project scheduled to begin supplying electricity from November 6, 2027. This development adds momentum to Gujarat’s renewable energy growth and contributes to India’s nationwide clean power goals.
“We are delighted to collaborate with GUVNL on this initiative,” stated Ankush Malik, CEO of Juniper Green Energy. “This PPA strengthens our mission to scale renewable capacity across the country and showcases our focus on delivering dependable, sustainable energy.”
Juniper Green Energy has been consistently expanding its green energy portfolio. Just two months earlier, in September 2025, the company entered into another PPA, this time with Tata Power, for a 70 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project aimed at supplying clean power to Maharashtra.
The newly signed 50 MW wind project further broadens the company’s renewable asset base and underscores its role in advancing India’s clean energy transition.
